Marcel Dzama - Behind Every Curtain

/uploads/posts/marcel_d1-1301799661.jpg

If you haven’t gotten a chance to check out Marcel Dzama’s “Behind Every Curtain” in NYC at David Zwirner gallery, it closes this weekend! Get over there!

His work has definitely evolved a great deal since I’ve had the pleasure of viewing his “Even the Ghost of the Past” exhibition back in 2008. Two weeks ago I attended his book signing. Needless to say, I was stoked to my book signed.

DirecTV Holidays

/uploads/posts/DTV_blog-1292027153.jpg Back in the summertime, I was contacted by Directv to create a series of typography and print art for their holiday promotional offers. It’s great to see some of them running in stores now. /uploads/posts/DTV_blog4-1292028735.jpg

Autumn 2010

Autumn 2010 News! Wow, I’ve really been slacking on posts. After such a brutal summer, I’m sure that everyone in NY is happy that Autumn has finally arrived. It’s by far my favorite season, yet such a short one. I’m sure that a week or two after I post this we’ll end up getting snow.

This summer was a busy one. I was working on some really great projects. Some of which lasted a few months. It just so happened that with the arrival of Fall, I managed to put the finishing touches on a few. Now, with my workload slightly reduced, I’ve been taking some time to travel, visit some friends, and work on some personal artwork. Read More

Adam Neate - The Flock Series

/uploads/posts/Adam_11-1288110833.jpg I was introduced to Adam Neate’s work by my good friend Mark Mark back in 2006. My wife and I were visiting London that year and we were lucky enough to catch one of Adam’s solo exhibitions. Needless to say, I have been a fan ever since. Two weeks ago, I happened to be back in London on holiday and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Adam was exhibiting a new series of experimental work. “The Flock Series”

Adam Neate has been experimenting with 3D/4D paintings for the last four years, and as many contemporary artists begin to embrace the notion within their own work, Adam has produced five extraordinary paintings which firmly position him as the master of the genre. The Flock Series exhibition consists of five works that will be on showcase at Elms Lesters that opened on October 12 and coincides with a limited edition book published to accompany the series. Price: £45.00

12 - 30 October 2010 Tuesday - Saturday 12 - 6.00 Thursdays ‘til 8.00pm or by appointment. Elms Lesters | 1-3-5 Flitcroft St | London | WC2H 8DH
