Walton Ford - Paul Kasmin Gallery
Walton Ford’s show “I don’t like to look at him, Jack. It makes me think of that awful day on the island” is on display at Paul Kasmin Gallery in NY from 11/3 - 12/23. I had the pleasure of attending his book signing on opening night. I waited patiently in line and when I handed Walton my books, I told him not to worry about having to sign it to my full name. I broke down the pronunciation and mentioned that it’s pretty long and hard to spell. He immediately turned to me and said “No way, you’re name means THE EAGLE in Italian.” He proceeded to sign all of my books “To Sal, the eagle.” It made me smile. If you have a chance check out this show, the paintings are massive.
I also managed to buy a signed lithograph! Can’t wait to get it back from the framer.
Florian Bertmer “Hexenbrett”
I was excited to receive this piece in the mail last week! Moon Editions teamed up with Florian Bertmer to create a beautifully intricate, laser engraved Hexenbrett (German for Witches Board). Limited to an edition of 50, Brett from Moon Editions emailed to congratulate me on scoring the last one.
I have some big plans for this piece and my talented buddies over at Wishbone Woodworking will be behind the craftsmanship!

Unsane Poster - 3 Color Screenprint
This hand silk screened poster was a collaboration between myself and good buddy Alex Mcwatt. Three color print on white stock, 12”x18.” Click here to see the full print.
The show happened earlier this month in NYC. We created this print for another good buddy Rich Hall of 1000 Knives Booking. Team 572! Screen prints can be purchased here through Shirts and Destroy.
"Enveloped" - Art Piece
Thank you to everyone that came out and supported the Matty NoTimes Benefit art show this past weekend. It seemed to be a huge success and I was happy to be able to contribute.
My piece was entitled “Enveloped,” originally a pencil drawing that I had laser engraved into wood. Special thanks to Jocelyn at Saved for the engraving! More photos here
Unwrapping a Deadman
Today I received Aaron Horkey’s Dead Man print! It’s a 7″ x 16.5″ giclee print with letterpress accents on 505gsm cotton rag paper. A limited run of 175. Although my print says 48/58? Can’t wait to get this framed!
